School Projects
Here is a highlight of some of my favorite and biggest University Media Art projects. I have a variety from graphic design, physical art (charcoal drawings, animation, etc)
01
Existential Crisis
This was a design project for a photoshop class I took. It was focused on typography, layering, color, and themes. I was inspired by AI, simulcrum/simulacra, gaining sentience.
02
App Design
This was a project that I created for my Illustrator class. The goal was to create 3 original apps and recreate 3 apps in the app store. Recreating the bottom ones were easy once I learned the tools and the top ones were a fun challenge.
03
Mini Magazine
This was another project that I created for my Illustrator class. We had to create a mini magazine on a subject of our choice (silly or not), create a cover, article, and advertisement. This was to practice layouts
04
Charcoal Drawings
Here are 3 of my favorite drawings from my fundamentals of art class. All of these are done on an 18 x 24-inch paper with charcoal supplies. The top piece which I named "Witches Garden" was originally a collage I created in photoshop with assets on the internet and then hand drawn from there. Heavily inspired by the works of Junji Ito.
05
Electro RGB
This was a very different project then I was used to. This was for a new interactive art class that I took. It was a new class that we navigated together with the professor, graduates, and undergraduates. Our goal was to create a giant interactive project to present to the community at the end of the semester. It was a long process, but I ended up creating a reactive piece in Touch Designer (a visual coding program). The first video is me waving through the reactive visuals (they react to audio but the song I used is copy righted so it's just the picture you are seeing.) The second is just the noise reacting to a song that I put together. The whole project was filled with interactive bits that other students made. The project taught me about teamwork and cooperation.
06
Animation
I took an animation class and here are two projects we worked on, flip book and stop motion.
07
Motion Design
Here is some of the work that I have done in After Effects Motion Design Class. The chess project required me to cut out pieces of a picture and create movement within After Effects.

The monkey piece was supposed to be an animation of a potential game. I designed the monkey, background, etc.

The final video was a project where we had to create an intro to a fake YouTube channel. I created all the assets in Illustrator beforehand, and then brought them into After Effects to animate them.
08
Etc
Album and book cover designs created for several photoshop classes.
